Ballet Theatre Queensland’s 2025 season of Cinderella was pure magic, a joyful celebration of storytelling, artistry, and the love of dance. From the moment the curtain rose, audiences were swept into a world of sparkle, laughter, and heartfelt moments.

Our young dancers shone with confidence and joy, filling the stage with energy and emotion as they brought this much-loved fairytale to life. Every performance was a reminder of just how special it is to see dreams take flight through dance.

The production enchanted audiences with its beautiful choreography, stunning costumes, and a touch of BTQ’s signature humour and heart. There were gasps of delight as Cinderella’s transformation unfolded before their eyes and smiles all around as the story danced toward its happily ever after. The excitement and wonder in the theatre were unmistakable, proof of the lasting magic that ballet creates when shared with others.

This year’s season also marked a very special milestone with Ballet Theatre Queensland’s return to the Gold Coast for the first time in more than 30 years. The warmth and enthusiasm of our Gold Coast audiences made every performance feel like a true celebration. It was more than just a return; it was a joyful reunion with a community that shares our love for dance. We are thrilled to announce that we will be returning to The Star Theatre in 2026 and cannot wait to share another unforgettable season with our audiences.
