Hamburg Ballet Apprentice

Abbey Haller is an emerging Australian dancer whose refined technique and expressive artistry have been recognised both nationally and abroad. A graduate of Queensland National Ballet School, Abbey was named a 2019 National Student Star Award (NSSA) recipient by Dancetrain Magazine, appearing on the cover and in a full-page feature. Her teachers described her as displaying “a beautifully refined technique and developed sense of performance… with an easy coordination and natural aesthetic,” qualities that continue to define her work today.

In 2023–2024 Abbey completed an apprenticeship with the prestigious Hamburg Ballet, gaining invaluable experience within an elite international environment. She also has a long and meaningful history with Ballet Theatre Queensland, performing in 2014, 2016–2018 and returning in 2025. Abbey’s dedication, musicality and generous stage presence continue to shape her as a compelling young artist to watch.
