Amy

Amy is 11 years old and joined Ballet Theatre of Queensland in 2009.

Amy has been dancing for 7 years and is currently studying RAD Intermediate Foundation and Intermediate ballet, jazz, contemporary and is a member of the Redland Dance elite ballet program ‘La Danza’.   In 2009 Amy was accepted into the Australian Ballet School Interstate Program.

In January Amy was offered a position with the prestigious Vienna State Opera Ballet School to study in Austria for 7 years.

This year Amy also has had great success at the Alana Haines International Ballet Competition in New Zealand, being the youngest competitor to make the semi finals and also winning the audience vote from 105 junior dancers.

Amy is passionate about her ballet and she hopes to take her ballet as far as possible- the ultimate dream would be to join The Australian Ballet Company.
